1992 — The Faribault Daily News announced it would be publishing daily editions from Tuesday through Sunday starting on Oct. 4.
1982 — Dawnlight Bowling was being held at Holiday Lanes, a part of the Holiday Inn on East Main Street, starting at 9 a.m. on Fridays.
1962 — An announcement was made that the National High School Championship Rodeo would be held during 1964 in Albert Lea.
