1990 — The Old Car Company would present the eighth annual Auto Fest at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds. There would be 11 classes in the events program.

1980 — Kae Loverink was crowned as the queen of the Hollandale Harvest Festival.

1970 — The former Kiester Cooperative Creamery building was destroyed by fire.
