Kari Trost and Josh Luehmann of Columbus, Ohio, announce their engagement.

Kari is the daughter of Charles and Linda Trost of Glenville. Josh is the son of Bruce and Pam Luehmann of Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Grandparents of Kari are Ed and Elaine Shannon of Albert Lea and Leonard Trost and the late Bernita Trost of Northwood, Iowa. Grandparents of the groom are Bev Bjornson and the late Merv Bjornson of New Rockford, N.D., and Elda Luehmann and the late Edgar Luehmann of Spring Park.

Kari graduated from Glenville-Emmons High School in 1999, St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003 and Ohio State University with a Master of Arts degree in 2005.

Josh graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1999 and Simpson College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003.

Both are employed at Brookside Golf & Country Club, Columbus, Ohio.

A wedding is planned for October 2010 in Key West, Fla.
