Steven and Debra Tubbs of Albert Lea announce the engagement of their daughter, Christine Tubbs, to Ryan Blake, son of Kristine Blake of Brooklyn Park.

Christine is a 2004 graduate of Albert Lea High School and graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a bachelor’s in entrepreneurship, marketing and economics. She is employed at Regis Corporation.

Ryan is a 2005 graduate of Park Center Senior High School. He is graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a bachelor’s in communication studies. He received his master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in sport and exercise science with an emphasis in sport administration. He is employed at University of St. Thomas.

A wedding is planned for Oct. 9, 2010, at St. Theodore Catholic Church.
