Here are highlights in history for Nov. 15, gleaned from the files of the Albert Lea Tribune:
1991 — The “Across the Pastor’s Desk” commentary on the Tribune’s Religion page for this issue was written by Rev. Milton Ost of Grace Lutheran Church. The headline said “Life is more than pull tabs.”
1981 — Eloise Adams would be presenting a lesson on pottery creation at the Albert Lea Art Center located in a former church building near the corner of West Main Street and Euclid Avenue.
1951 — Christmas lights were in place in Albert Lea’s central business district and would be turned on in a few days to start the holiday season.
