Emelia Swanson and Carl Gaudian were married July 24, 2010, at 4 p.m. in a double ring outdoor wedding at Historic Fort Vancouver, Vancouver, Wash.

The bride’s parents are David and Becky Swanson, of Vancouver, Wash. The groom’s parents are Bryce and Cindy Gaudian, of Hayward.

The bride’s grandparents are Gloria Harper, of Rochester, Don Harper, of Rochester, and Esther Swanson, of Tacoma, Wash. The bride’s great-grandma is Joyce Kihlgren.

The groom’s grandparents are Phil and Edie Tennis, of Hayward, and Marty and Kathy Gaudian, of Oak Creek, Wis.

The bride is attending Bethany Lutheran College, Mankato.

The groom graduated from Bethany Lutheran College, Mankato, in May of 2010 with a bachelor of communications degree.

Maid of honor was Taylor Swanson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Emily Gaudian, Laura Gaudian, Rachelle Rude, Angelica Habeck, Courtney Nelson, Kai Kaniess, Rachel Rude and MacKensie Swanson.

Flower girl was Madeline Hilton.

Best man was Caleb Gaudian, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Tom Sanchez, Andy Rutrough, Mark Swanson, Ryan Franke, Silas Randall, Chase Rambou and Nathan Swanson.

Ring bearers were Wes Hilton and Isaac Rude.

Musicians were violinist, Krista Weddle and pianist, David Prillwitz.

A reception was held at Howard House, Historic Fort Vancouver, Vancouver, Wash., in an outdoor reception.

Wedding planner was Laura Hanson. Personal attendant was Jasmine Coolidge.

A honeymoon was taken at Rockaway Beach.

The couple is currently residing and working in Mankato.
