Albert Lea High School Dance Team had an exciting start to its competitive season at the John Marshall Invitational on Saturday. The team brought home a first-place trophy in jazz as well as a second-place trophy in high kick, competing among six varsity teams. ALDT will perform again Tuesday at Albert Lea High School during half time of both the girls’ junior varsity and varsity basketball games. This season’s dance team captains are Kadie Habana, Morgan Ciota, Kate Ellertson and Randi Johnson. Dance team coaches are Allison Ciota and Krystal Falk. -- Submitted photo
