Humane Society dropped the ball

Perhaps the Humane Society would respond to the letter from the family trying to find their dog. It was shocking to me that the dog would not be scanned for a computer chip by either our Humane Society or the rescue group they sent the dog to. I took heart that my dog would get back to me if ever lost because of the chip! It is the Humane Society’s responsibility to get that dog back to its owners. It should then have a collar and ID for its protection.
