I-35 closures

The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced at 1:45 p.m. today that the left lanes are closed on the southbound and northbound lanes of Interstate 35 south of Faribault.
It was reported that a semi hauling salt tipped onto its side. The left lane of southbound I-35 closed at 12:30 p.m. The left lane of northbound closed at approximately 1:30 p.m. Crews are cleaning up contents of the crash.
The left lanes in both directions will remain closed until further notice, approximately an additional two to three hours. Motorists may experience minor delays with single lane traffic moving in both directions.
