Mansfield 4-H Club

The Mansfield 4-H Club met for their monthly meeting on Sept. 12 at the Farm of Yesteryear. President Joel Faugstad called the meeting to order. Vice President Alli Songstad took roll call and did the secretary’s report. There was no treasurer’s report. The Songstads brought refreshments. They held many games for the public kids at the Farm of Yesteryear. From the county fair, the Mansfield 4-H Club received the award for herdsmanship. There was discussion on how everybody did at the county fair and at state fair.
For October, the Mansfield 4-H Club met for their monthly meeting on Oct. 10 at Faugstad’s farm. The Mansfield 4-H Club started on their two-mile stretch of State Highway 22, ditch walking for garbage. President Joel Faugstad called the meeting to order. Secretary Mariah Fossum took roll call and did the secretary’s report. There was no treasurer’s report. For the meeting there were four guests. They had their 4-H club officer elections. The group would like to congratulate Joel Faugstad for being elected president, Alli Songstad for being elected vice president, Mariah Fossum for being elected secretary, Paul Boettcher for being elected treasurer and Austin Suhr for being elected the club reporter. There was discussion on enrolling and re-enrolling in 4-H, the club banquet in November and leaders council. The Mansfield 4-H Club meeting was on Nov. 20.
