Family Focus chemical dependency treatment program, currently owned and operated by Immanuel St. Joseph’s — part of Mayo Health System — will become part of the Fountain Centers chemical dependency treatment program of Albert Lea Medical Center — also part of Mayo Health System — Jan. 1, 2011.
This transition is part of a larger effort within Mayo Health System to offer site-specific services to a broader area within the system, creating increased patient access to quality health care services and more efficient use of resources. This merger takes the best of both organizations and brings them together.
Family Focus and Fountain Centers share many treatment philosophies, processes and policies which should result in a smooth transition for patients, staff and referral sources. Patients, in particular, will benefit from the continuum of care available in several locations.
The Family Focus transition into Fountain Centers will expand Fountain Centers’ network of outpatient facilities in Rochester, Fairmont, Waseca and Albert Lea to include Family Focus locations in Faribault, Mankato and Owatonna. Fountain Centers also offers a residential program in Albert Lea. For more information, please contact ehn.jerry@mayo.
