Wedding: Austad & Rigney

Elise Austad and Rocky Rigney were married on Aug. 21, 2010, at 5 p.m. at Carlson Towers Rotunda in Minnetonka. The Rev. Josh Christenson performed the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Christopher and Linda Austad, formerly of Albert Lea, now residents of Rushford. Grandparents of the bride are Charles and Ann Austad of Bemidji.
Parents of the groom are Martin and Mary Rigney of Roseville.
Maid of honor was Natacha Ohayon, best friend of the bride, of Minneapolis. Bridesmaids were Ericka Austad, sister of the bride, of Mankato, Jaimi Christenson, friend of the bride, of Winona, Katie Rigney, sister of the groom, of Mankato, Katie Picotte, friend of the bride, Minneapolis, Callan Jensen, friend of the bride, of Albert Lea.
Best man was Jared Ostby, friend of the groom, of Bloomington
Groomsmen were Jacob Dahle, brother of the bride, of Crystal, Nathan Lohn, friend of the groom, of Robbinsdale, Kellen Chamblee, friend of the groom, of Roseville, Benjamin Seliga, friend of the groom, of Roseville, and Andrew Martin, friend of the groom, of St. Paul.
Ushers were Andrew Wegleitner, friend, of St. Paul, Zach Marty, friend, of Minneapolis, and Allen Ondrachek, friend, of Minneapolis.
Ring bearer was Palmer Rigne, the couple’s dog.
Musicians was Dan Sederstrom.
A reception was held at Carlson Towers Rotunda in Minnetonka following the outdoor ceremony.
Personal attendants were Christine Staloch of Albert Lea and Sarah Heim of Minneapolis
They were married outdoors on an amphitheater surrounded by water and fountains. Colors of the wedding were eggplant and champagne. The bride and groom had a surprise first dance for their guests.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree in physiology from University of Minnesota and is currently in her last year of graduate school at Northwestern Health Sciences studying for her Doctor of Chiropractic and Pediatric Diplomate. She is employed at Purple Sandpiper BakeHouse & Pub.
The groom is a graduate of Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu. He is employed as the culinary and nutrition manager at Presbyterian Homes in Bloomington.
A wedding trip was taken to Aruba immediately following the reception.
