Wedding: Nelson

Lori Jimenez and Douglas Nelson were married on Oct. 23, 2010, at 4 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Joel Vano performed the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Ed Jimenez, of Mason City, Iowa, and Sandi and Kirk Svestka, of New Prague.

Parents of the groom are David and Zetty Claire Nelson of Owatonna.

Matron of honor was Lindsey Schultz, of Albert Lea, daughter of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Nelson, of Dodge Center, daughter of the groom, Julie Nelson, of Prior Lake, daughter of the groom, and Tara Torke, of Burnsville, friend of the couple.

Flower girl was Jayda Sorenson, of Rochester, daughter of Josh Sorenseon and granddaughter of the bride.

Best man was Paul Nelson, of Burnsville, son of the groom. Groomsmen were Justin Nelson, of Faribault, son of the groom, Josh Sorenseon, of Albert Lea, son of the bride, and Mitch Sorenson, son of the bride.

Ushers were Garrett Schultz, of Albert Lea, son-in-law of the bride, and Frank Gothard, of Prior Lake, friend of the couple.

Ring bearer was Mason Kaplan, of Owatonna, son of Lindsay Kaplan and grandson of the groom.

The brides two sons walked her down the aisle.

Hostesses were Jodi Jackson, of Waseca, sister of the bride, Shelli Nilson, of Mason City, Iowa, sister of the bride, and Jeff and Cindy Larson of Alden, friend of the couple.

Guest book attendant was Carley Nelson, neice of the groom.

Personal attendants were Shelly Wangen, of Albert Lea, friend of the bride, and Jacque Praayer, of Albert Lea, friend of the bride.

Bubble boys were Brennan Nelson, of Rochester, and Preston Nelson, of Adrian, both nephews of the groom.

Punch pourer was McKinley Nelson, of Adrian, neice of the groom.

Gift carriers were Brady Nelson, of Rochester, and Logen Nelson, of Adrian, both nephews of the groom.

Flower pinner was Denise Nelson, of Adrian,

sister-in-law of the groom.

Cake cutter was Sharon Nelson, of Rochester, sister-in-law of the groom.

Coffee pourer was Cindy Larson, of Alden, friend of the couple.

Videographer was Jeff Larson, of Alden, friend of the couple.

Photographer was Bryece Nelson, of Albert Lea, friend of the couple.

Flowers were made by daughter Lindsey Schultz, of Albert Lea.

Jewelry was made by Joy Shaft, of Albert Lea, friend of the bride.

Ammie Magness, of Albert Lea, friend of the bride, did makeup and hair.

A reception followed at 8 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Faribault.

Lori graduated from Albert Lea High School, Rochester Community College and Riverland Community College. She is a cosmetologist in Faribault.

Doug graduated from Owatonna High School and works for UPS out of Faribault.

After the couple honeymooned along Lake Superior, they reside in Faribault.
