Brent and Katherine Ness, of New York City, announce the birth of a daughter, Lydia Eileen Ness, on Dec. 21, 2010, at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital, New York. Lydia weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Grandparents are Bruce and Eileen Ness, of Albert Lea, and Bob and Kay Barthelmes, of Peekskill, N.Y. Great-grandparents are Jess and Donna Nelson, of Sturgis, S.D., and Gertrude Ness, of Albert Lea.

Clint and Heidi McGill, of Albert Lea, announce the birth of a son, Sawyer Germain McGill, on Nov. 16, 2010, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Sawyer weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and was 19 inches long. He joins a brother, Samuel.

Rayanna Schreiber and Enrique Fernandez, of Albert Lea, announce the birth of a daughter, Alaysia Rain Fernandez, on Jan. 8, 2011, at the Albert Lea Medical Center. Alaysia weighed 7 pounds. She joins half-siblings, Enrique Jr. and Yaremi.

Michele (Shelly) Zeller and Darin Yokiel, of Freeborn, announce the birth of a daughter, Bethany Michele Yokiel, on Jan. 12, 2011, at Albert Lea Medical Center in Albert Lea. Bethany weighed 5 pounds 11 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.
