Nora Peterson

Nora O. Peterson, 96, of Lake Mills, Iowa, formerly of Northwood, Iowa, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at the Lake Mills Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Silver Lake Lutheran Church, rural Northwood, Iowa. Visitation will be on from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mittelstadt Funeral Home, 902 East Main Street in Lake Mills, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Donavan Johnson

Donavan B. Johnson, 53, of Frost, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, after sustaining injuries in an auto accident. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bethany Lutheran Church, rural Frost. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Bricelyn and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family or to the donor’s choice. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Bricelyn in assisting the family with arrangements.
