Tiffany Cook and Michael Witter announce their engagement.

Parents of the bride are Robert and Barbara Williams and Robert and Deb Cook, all of Austin.
Parents of the groom are Daniel and Gail Thorpe of Albert Lea.

Tiffany graduated from Riverland Community College in 2002 with an associate of arts and science degree in criminal justice. She graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 2004 with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. She is finishing up an internship in the Counselor Education MS Graduate Program with Winona State University and will then attain her LADC and LPCC licensure. She is employed at Fountain Centers.

Michael graduated from Riverland Community College in 2008 as a certificated construction electrician. He is employed at Gerard Academy.

A wedding is planned for May 14 at St. Olaf Church, Austin.
