Tim and Gloria Hughes, of Grand Rapids, and Larry and Connie Rygh, of Albert Lea, announce the engagement of their children, Jenna Hughes and Derek Rygh.

Jenna graduated from Central Lakes College with a horticulture degree with an emphasis in landscape technology and greenhouse management. She is employed in Brainerd.

Derek is a graduate of Teen Challange Ministry Institute, Minneapolis, and is pursuing a degree in pastoral studies with Global University. He is employed in Brainerd.

A wedding is planned for May 21 at Heritage Assembly of God, Baxter.
