Rebels down Knights

WELLS– Kyle Bauman scored 19 points and pulled down 15 rebounds Friday as the United South Central Rebels boys’ basketball team defeated the Alden-Conger Knights 67-28 in Wells.
Cole Stencel also tallied 11 points and four assists for the Rebels.
Tyler Adix led the Knights with eight points.
“We played a complete sloppy game,” Alden-Conger coach Bill Hintz said. “We came back in the second half and played much better ball, but we dug ourselves a hole.”
USC is back in action on Monday at 7:30 p.m. as they host Minnesota Valley Lutheran in Wells.
Alden-Conger plays again Tuesday as they start section play as they travel to Lyle for a 7 p.m. game against Lyle/Pacelli.
