The West Fork Warhakws boys’ basketball team ended the Lake Mills Bulldogs season Tuesday with a 60-42 win in the district semifinals in Clear Lake, Iowa.

The Warhawks led 29-15 at halftime and held the Bulldogs to single digit scoring in the first two quarters.

“Our kids played hard against a team that has a great shot at the state title,” Bulldogs coach Kyle Menke said. “It was a fun season and a pleasure to coach these kids.

The Bulldogs received scoring from only four players — Marcus Gaskill (17), Tyler Rice (11), Alex Grunhovd (11) and Josh Zabel (3) — while the Warhawks saw eight player score, four in double digits.

Gaskill grabbed 10 rebounds to complete a double-double and Rice made three 3-pointers.
