Michael Reyerson scored 12 points Tuesday, but it wasn’t enough as the No. 8-seeded Lyle/Pacelli Athletics boys’ basketball team eliminated the No. 9 Alden-Conger Knights 69-38 from Section 1A tournament in Lyle.

The Knights committed 33 turnovers on the night.

“We had too many turnovers with,” Alden-Conger coach Bill Hintz said. “We played bad, it was one of our worst games of the year.”

The Knights conclude the season with a 4-19 record and will lose six players to graduation.

Alden-Conger will lose seniors Michael Bernal, Michael Reyerson, Juan Martinez, Derek Nelson, Tyler Adix and Nathaniel Back.
