DEXTER — Mower County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a fire that burned down a home in Dexter Thursday night.

Sheriff Terese Amazi said she is “suspicious” of the fire because the power had been disconnected at the beginning of the week. The State Fire Marshal will be joining the investigation, as well.

The same home was subject to a fire last Sunday morning.
