Dewey and Jan Birkhofer and Dennis and Doreen Dieser, all of Albert Lea, announce the engagement of their children, Becky Birkhofer and Corey Dieser.

Grandmother of Becky is Donna Birkhofer, of Wilton, Iowa.

Grandparents of Corey are Connie Dieser and Virgil and Rita Lukes, of Rochester.

Becky is a 2004 graduate of Albert Lea High School, 2008 graduate of Cornell College and a 2010 graduate of the University of Iowa with a doctorate in physical therapy.

Corey is a 2007 graduate of Albert Lea High School. He will graduate from Cornell College in May 2011. He will begin the University of Iowa doctorate of physical therapy program in July 2011.

A wedding is planned for July 3, 2011, in Albert Lea.
