The Freeborn County Soil and Water Conservation District will host an informational forestry workshop from 3 to 5 p.m. on March 24 at the Country Inn and Suites, 2214 E. Main St. Albert Lea.

Presentation topics include tree planting, tree products, emerald ash borer, other tree pests and diseases, forest stand improvement, wildlife and invasive species. Professionals will be available to answer individual questions.

There will be free samples of tree care products available for every attendee while supplies last and a drawing for several door prizes.
