Gertrude A. Hanson, 73, of Austin, died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Gertrude Hanson

Gertrude was born May 31, 1937, in Spring Grove, Minn., to Gustav and Anna (Klegseth) Erickson. On June 24, 1956, she married Allen L. Hanson in Mower County. Gertrude was a cook and she loved to play bingo.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Hanson; children, Keith Hanson, Dale Hanson, Gary Hanson, Sandi Crowson; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Charlotte Schroeder, Esther Funge.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, at Mayer Funeral Home.
