1985 — The Faithful Beaver District Scout-O-Rama would be held two days later at the Skyline Mall. One of the events would be the popular Pinewood Derby, a race track for small home-made model cars.

1975 — A shrimp basket for $1,95 was available at Dog N Suds, Highway 16 & 65 East in Albert Lea.

1965 — The Clutchmen Car Club started a series of traffic safety meetings at the Albert Lea Community Center.
