Venusita Baluran, of General Santos City, Philippines, and Timothy Malimanek, of Strandburg, S.D., were married at 3 p.m. Sept. 18, 2010, at the Fountain Lake Park gazebo in Albert Lea. Court administrator, Patricia Ball presided over the double-ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Avelina Cubrado Baluran and the late Rodolfo Baluran Sr. Parents of the groom are the late Leonard and Jeanice Malimanek formerly of Albert Lea.

Maid of honor was Suzanne Srp, sister of the groom, of Glenville.

Flower girl was Kylee Wiggins, of Albert Lea, daughter of April (Petersen) and Ansil Wiggins and great-niece of the groom.

Best man was Pat Malimanek, brother of the groom, of Albert Lea.

The bride was escorted by Luc and Eli Malimanek, nephews of the groom.

Kelcey Srp, niece of the groom, was the bride’s personal attendant.

A reception was held at the home of Dave and Suzanne Srp following the ceremony.

Timothy is employed at Waverly School District in Waverly, S.D., and farms in Grant County, S.D.

The couple resides in rural Strandburg, S.D.
