John and Paula Yocom, of Emmons, announce the engagement of their son, Mike Yocom, to Amy Bengtson, daughter of Jerry and Lois Bengtson, of Pine City.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Rush City High School and a 2008 graduate of University of Wisconsin, River Falls. She is employed at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Glenville-Emmons High School and University of Wisconsin, River Falls. He is employed at Farm Credit Administration in Bloomington.

A May 21, 2011, wedding is planned at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Pine City.
