GENEVA — A small electrical fire was reported at the grain elevator in Geneva Friday morning.

According to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, the fire at Geneva Grain Services, 103 Third St. NE, was reported shortly before 11 a.m.

Alliant Energy cut power to the facility after authorities received the initial call.

No damage was reported, and authorities left the scene less than 30 minutes later.

Clarks Grove Fire Department assisted at the scene with a thermal imaging device.
