A departure ceremony for Minnesota National Guard soldiers with the Albert Lea unit will take place Tuesday.

The event is slated for 10 a.m. at the Albert Lea Armory.

Delta Company will be based in Kuwait as part of the second-largest deployment of the Minnesota National Guard since World War II. Members of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 34th Red Bull Infantry Division will be responsible for providing base management and security ground convoys of troops, equipment and supplies throughout Iraq.
