Rebels rout Tigers, Huse wins No. 200

The United South Central softball team built a 6-0 lead in the first inning Thursday and won at Medford 9-0.

The win was the 200th career victory for Rebels (6-3, 6-1 Gopher) coach Brad Huse.

Ali Ramsley earned the win for the Rebels on the mound by allowing five hits over seven innings while striking out nine. She was also 3-for-4 from the plate with a triple. Leah Irwin was also 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

The Rebels play again at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Blooming Prairie (9-0, 6-0).
