The Albert Lea Tigers softball team was swept in a doubleheader Thursday at Rochester John Marshall.

The Tigers lost the first game 24-1 before dropping a more competitive second game 14-1.

In her first career varsity games, eighth-grader Taylor Thompson went 2-for-5 from the plate. Erin Everhard and Jordan Bang also notched two hits over the series.

The Tigers play again Tuesday in a doubleheader against Mankato East at Synder Field.
