Tigers sweep Cougars

The Albert Lea Tigers baseball team swept a doubleheader Tuesday at Mankato East.
Makael Lunning hit two home runs and had five RBIs in the Tigers 10-2 win in Game 1, and Cole Sorenson struck out 15 batters in a 13-4 win in Game 2.
“We started slow on the mound and in the field but we buckled down as the games went along,” Tigers coach Joe Sczublewski said.
The Tigers play again Friday against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva in Albert Lea.
