Scott and Linda Johnson, of Wells, and Jim and Brenda Cords, of Alden, announce the engagement of their children, Amber Johnson and Andy Cords.

Amber is a 2008 graduate of United South Central High School. Amber is currently attending Minnesota State University – Mankato, majoring in accounting and finance.

Andy is a 2008 graduate of Alden-Conger High School. Andy graduated from South Central College, Mankato, in May 2010. Andy is employed at Johnson Farms, Wells.

A wedding is planned for Aug. 6, 2011, at the United Methodist Church, Wells. A reception and dance will follow at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club, Albert Lea.
