A Father’s Day comedy show will be featured Friday evening at the Leo Carey American Legion. The show starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. The show will feature comedians Scott Hansen, Jeff Gerbino, Bob Demaris and Pete Borchers.

Friday

• First Baptist Church in Clarks Grove will feature outdoor music at 6 p.m. The show is free and donations will be accepted. There will be a silent auction and food available.

• Summerset Theatre in Austin will feature Irving Berlin’s “Annie Get Your Gun!” The show will be held at the Frank W. Bridges Theatre at Riverland Community College’s Austin campus at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at The Coffee House on Main in downtown Austin or at the Riverland box office.

Saturday

• Free swimming is available as part of the Sample Saturday Series at 10 a.m. at the City Pool

• The Sample Saturday series will feature free Nia, a sensory-based movement exercise, in Edgewater Park at 10 a.m.

• The Albert Lea Farmers Market starts at 9 a.m. and goes until noon in the North Broadway Avenue parking lot.

• Support the troops by participating in the 5th annual Freedom Run classic car and motorcycle ride. The event will take place rain or shine starting at the Great Escape Bar in Minnesota Lake. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. and the ride starts at noon. The route will be revealed to riders before the ride starts. Cost is $20 per driver or rider with a $40 maximum. • The Alden Lions will hold a pancake breakfast at the Alden school from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Denny Brue will be serving his famous pancakes. The full menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, milk and coffee. Adults are $6, ages 6 to 12 are $4 and children 5 and under are free.
