The Ladies Aid of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Albert Lea met in Luther Hall on May 12. Hostesses were Verna Tuttle and Kathy Halvorson.

The Rev Wayne Halvorson continued the hymn study. Members joined in singing, “Ye Lands To The Lord Make a Jubilant Noise” and “He’s Risen, He’s Risen, Christ Jesus The Lord.” Betty Patterson served as pianist.

President Maren Ring presided over the business meeting.

A motion was made and carried to accept the generous donation of a kitchen stove from Tim and Nancy Toft.

The Ordination service for Vicar James Kassera will be June 26 at 4 p.m. A motion was made and carried to serve a meal following the service.

The Rev. Wayne Halvorson will be honored on the 45th anniversary of his ordination on July 10 at 9 a.m. A motion was made and carried to serve a brunch.
