Here are highlights in history for June 19, gleaned from the files of the Albert Lea Tribune:

1993 — Just as the Glenville Days Parade ended on the previous day, it started to rain.

1983 — The Region IV Minnesota High School Rodeo was taking place at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds.
