Robert Bock, 63, Glenville

The funeral service for Robert Gordon Bock Sr. of Glenville will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. Todd Walsh will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea and one hour before the service at the church.
Robert died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester. He was 63 years old.
Robert was born Dec. 21, 1947, in Albert Lea to Arthur William and Gloria Margaret (Johnson) Bock. He grew up in Albert Lea and in 1968 moved to Glenville. Robert worked for Wilson & Co., Farmstead and Farmland. He also worked for the Cenex gas station. Robert was a member of the Eagles. He enjoyed going to coffee with his friends, helping others and shopping for good deals. Robert was a very generous and giving person. He also liked animals, especially his pigeons.
Robert is survived by his three children: Robert Bock Jr. and his wife, Chellie, of Hudson, Wis.; Michael Bock, of Glenville; and Sheila Garbers and her husband, Jason, of Prior Lake; grandchildren: Bennett, Liliahna, Jack, Michaela, Alex, Austin, Dylan, Jon and Carly; brothers: Raymond Bock, of Albert Lea; Donald Bock, of Seneca, Mo.; and LuVerne Bock Sr., of Lake Mills, Iowa; girlfriend: Rosanna Sandoval; nephews: Lance, Lane, Lindon, Loren, LuVerne Jr., Kelly and Donald; and many coffee friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Gloria Bock; sister: Lorraine Hagen; nieces: Terri and Teresa.
