Jenna Brackey and Matt Hauan, of Lake Mills, Iowa, announce their engagement.

Jenna is the daughter of Todd and Joanne Brackey, of Twin Lakes. Matt is the son of Mike and Robin Hauan, of Scarville, Iowa, and John and Tamara Henthorne, of Kiester.

Grandparents of the bride are Parnell and Marge Brackey, Earl and Dorothy Towne, all of Emmons, and the late Ervin Hovland. Grandparents of the groom are Myron and LouAnn Hauan, of Fort Worth, Texas, Marjorie Hauan, of Scarville, Iowa, and Glen and the late Gladys Furre, of Kiester.

Jenna graduated from Albert Lea High School in 2004. She graduated in May of 2011 from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene.

Matt graduated from Lake Mills Community School in 2002. He graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing.

Matt works at Lake Mills Motor Sports and farms with his family.

A wedding is planned at Emmons Lutheran Church on Oct. 8, 2011.
