An investigator arrived and found Christian Kruckow’s body. A revolver was on a counter with five spent shell casings nearby.

Rolland Kruckow told the investigator he always carries a .38-caliber revolver in his pants pocket and that he had pulled out the gun and shot his brother after his brother started pushing him.

Family members say Christian Kruckow had gone to his brother’s house to borrow some tools. They knew of no animosity between the two.
