Tigers earn 1st Big Nine win

The Albert Lea boys’ soccer team won its first Big Nine Conference match of the season Tuesday 3-2 at Faribault in overtime.
Tyler Shaw scored two goals and Tim Furland scored one as the Tigers outshot the Falcons 16-11.
The Tigers play again at 7 p.m. Thursday against Rochester Century at Hammer Field.
