Hardee’s in Albert Lea will begin a food drive Tuesday for the local Salvation Army foodshelf. The drive goes until the end of December.
According to a news release from the company, people who donate three nonperishable food items during that span will be rewarded with a free one-fourth pound Steakhouse Thickburger made with 100 percent black angus beef.
The company stated this is Hardee’s way of saying thank you to its customers who are helping them help others.
The Salvation Army is requesting the following nonperishable items: peanut butter, canned soups, boxed macaroni and cheese, hamburger/tuna helper, dried pastas, canned vegetables and fruits, cereals and canned Meats, plus any other nonperishable items.
