1985 — An advertisement featured a Harvest Days Sale by Menard Buildings. Sales representatives for this firm were located in Mankato, Faribault and Austin.
1975 — Chris Gjersvik was crowned as Homecoming Queen at Albert Lea High School.
1955 — Liz Peterson was crowned as queen of Homecoming at Albert Lea High School. Her attendants were Joan Hagen, Joyce Gendler, Elaine Hunt and Patty Stovern.
