Baby Boy Christiansen, infant son of Shannon and Lori (Parkinson) Christiansen, was born and died on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 301 8th Ave., N.W., Kasson. Burial will take place in North Shell Rock Cemetery, rural Northwood, Iowa. Mittelstadt Funeral Home, 902 East Main Street in Lake Mills is in charge of local arrangements.

Survivors include his parents Shannon and Lori Christiansen of Kasson; grandparents: Barb and Larry Parkinson of Lake Summerset, Ill., Roger Christiansen of Lake Mills, Iowa, and Patricia and William Searles of Albert Lea; great-grandfather, Arnold Brunsvold of Albert; aunts and uncles: Rob (Suzanne) Parkinson of Woodbury, Nicole Bourne of Omaha, Neb., Troy (Lisa) Christiansen of Kensett, Iowa, Marnie (Mike) Mueller of Manly, Iowa, and Natalie (Josh) Hewitt of Rochester; and many cousins and extended relatives.

He will be welcomed in heaven by his grandmother, Fran Christiansen; and great-grandparents: Evelyn Brunsvold, Cornelius and Bertha Christiansen.
