Minn. Arboretum to open ‘Making Spirits Bright’

CHANHASSEN — The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum opened its annual “Making Spirits Bright” holiday celebration on Friday.

Visitors will find 12 storybook-themed decorated trees, surrounded by storytime seating, in the arboretum’s Oswald Visitor Center and Snyder Building.

The visitor center also will include a holiday kids’ shop, where children can shop for gifts for their parents. Traditional holiday teas will be held in the Snyder Building tea room, and live music will be featured in the visitor center.

Upcoming events include a holiday sale weekend Dec. 3-4, sleigh rides and pictures with Santa.
