Here are highlights in history for Nov. 15, gleaned from the files of the Albert Lea Tribune:
1990 — Freeborn County residents had the choice of two recycling plans. One was sponsored by Waste Systems and the other was sponsored by Fallenstein Refuse and Recycling.
1980 — Tribune staff member Love Cruikshank wrote a review of the Albert Lea Community Theatre’s presentation of the play, “6 rms. riv. vu.”
1940 — Northwood, Iowa, was becoming a popular place for Minnesota couples to obtain marriage licenses. During October the total for licenses issued by Worth County was 284.
