Jenna Hughes and Derek Rygh, both of Brainerd, were married on May 21, 2011, in Baxter at Heritage Assembly of God. Officiating the ceremony was the Rev. Brian Kimbler of Ironton.

A dinner reception immediately followed the ceremony at Heritage Assembly of God Fellowship Hall. The couple honeymooned in the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park.

Parents of the couple are Tim and Gloria Hughes, of Grand Rapids, and Larry and Connie Rygh, of Albert Lea, and the late Brenda (Aske) Rygh.

The bride is a graduate of Itasca Community College, Grand Rapids and Central Lakes College, Brainerd. The groom is a graduate of Teen Challenge Ministry Institute, Minneapolis, and is continuing his education in pastoral studies with Global University. Both are employed in Brainerd.
