Some quick thoughts on the drone issue:

The United States wants the drone that it lost in Iran back, but Iran won’t comply. Moreover, Iran demands an apology from the United States.

Can you imagine if Iran flew a drone over U.S. airspace and it was captured that the U.S. would just give it back?

Can you imagine Iran issuing a formal apology?

No, on both counts.

The U.S. didn’t issue an apology when the Navy mistakenly shot down an Iranian airliner in 1988, killing 290 people.

We doubt the U.S. will issue one now. And without an apology, we doubt Iran will return the drone.
