Brianna Diaz and Brock Noland announce their engagement.

Brianna is the daughter of Michelle Harrison, originally of Minneapolis.

She is the granddaughter of Marvin and Patricia Pearson, originally of Minneapolis.

Brock is the son of Jerry and Bev Noland, of Hayward. He is the grandson of Polly and the late Max Noland and Delores and the late Harlan Wegner, of Hayward.

Brianna is a 2001 graduate of Edison High School in Minneapolis. She is currently a student at Augsburg College studying mathematical economics. She is active and employed with the Nobel Peace Prize Forum.

Brock is a 2001 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2005 graduate of University of Minnesota with a degree in applied economics. He is employed with Cloudera as a Hadoop instructor.

A wedding is planned for Dec. 28, 2011, in Key Largo, Fla.
