Brett and Jacqueline Swartwoudt, of Faribault, along with Ronald and Gail Levorson, of Albert Lea, are proud to announce the engagement of their children, Carissa Swartwoudt, of Faribault, to Matthew Levorson, of Albert Lea.

Carissa is a 2004 graduate of Faribault Senior High and a 2008 graduate of the College of St. Catherine with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She is employed by Rice County District One Hospital and Mayo Clinic Health System of Albert Lea where she is a registered nurse in labor and delivery.

Matt is a 2000 graduate of Albert Lea High School and a 2004 graduate of Bethany Lutheran College with a Bachelor of Arts in communications. Matt is the owner of Matt Levorson Productions which he started in 2001. He is also employed by the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office where he works as the water patrol deputy for Freeborn County.

The couple plans to wed on Feb. 25, 2012, at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd in Faribault. A reception and dance will follow the ceremony at the Vintage Ballroom.
