Albert Lea’s Sydney Rehnelt and Brittani Zuniga each scored 10 points on Tuesday as the Rochester Mayo girls’ basketball team outscored the Tigers 43-29 in the second half en route to a 63-43 win.

Rehnelt scored most of her points from the free throw line, where she was 8-for-8, and Nya Chan grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.

Rachael Doll and Lauren Ulsh led the Spartans with 19 points each.

Albert Lea was 12-for-16 from the free throw line but shot 23 percent from the field, including 11-for-48 inside the 3-point line.

The Tigers play next at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday against Rochester John Marshall at Albert Lea High School.
